Project Management – Laima: Technical Partners worked with Laima’s project manager for the consolidation of three manufacturing plants, confectionery (formerly Uzvara, Sporta iela), chocolate manufacturing (Laima, Mieru iela), biscuit (Staburadze) into a new plant in Salaspils. Responsibilities - process design, line layouts, logistics, etc. for a facility with approximately 35 production lines. Line layouts were established and ready for the technical design phase when the project was cancelled due to the global economic crisis.

Project Management - First Malpils Power: Local project management for waste to energy cogeneration plant starting with feasibility study covering waste supplies, regulations, building concept design, negotiations with local authorities for heat and power sales, preparation of business plan and investment proposals.

Monitoring Consultancy - Riga International Business Park: Provide accounting and administrative services and support as required for international investment group developing a business park in Latvia.

Project Management / Documentation - AS "Latvijas valsts meži" (Latvian Forests): Completed a study which provided and Information summary about peat deposits and usage in Latvia.

Project Management - Retirement Village Latvia: Development project. Continuation of retirement village project valued at €70 million. Business plan prepared. Investment project documentation prepared. Project currently seeking investor.

Monitoring Consultancy - Laima: Technical Partners worked with the project group headed by the Production Director serving as his advisor to merge the Laima plant at the Uzvara plant facility. Included pre-feasibility study, production process design, development of tender documents and organizing tender, consultations. The project was cancelled just before implementation when ownership changed.

Representative Services / Sales - LNV Energy: Technical Partners completed a market study of possibilities in Latvia for boiler sales. Accompanied LNV representative in client visits. Implemented a gas burning facility at Liepajas RAS. Completed translation of instruction manuals from English to Latvian.

Monitoring Consultancy / Engineering Services - Latvia Realty: Owner Representation for €2,000,000 historic apartment building Tērbates 38 reconstruction project. Technical Partners personnel attended project planning meetings between the general contractor, architect and others, completed weekly site inspections and provided progress reports complete with pictures. The main objective was to maintain control over the project.

Monitoring Consultancy / Engineering Services - Jeld-Wen Latvia: Consulting & Construction Inspection for €60,000,000 new door and window manufacturing plant. Technical Partners personnel represented the Project Manager in project planning meetings, recorded minutes, completed weekly site inspections and provided progress reports complete with pictures. TP engineers also completed on-the-spot silo design changes.

Project Management / Translations - Progressive Systems: Technical operating instruction translations for US company providing equipment to Jeld-Wen Latvia new plant project.

Project Management / Documentation - Vudlande through SHREWS:, Saw Mill Plant Master File, development of budget, production reports. Technical Partners assembled information about the saw mill to provide new investors with information about the operations of the mill. Recommendations were made to improve operations.

Representative Services / Sales - Art Novo: Development of strategy and program to attract international film producers to Latvia. Preparation of marketing materials. Provided assistance in information preparation for investment project.

Project Management - Tanta Pharmaceuticals, Inc., (Canada) through Trillium Technologies Group: Assistance with new pharmaceutical facility design, equipment qualification and temperature mapping.

Monitoring Consultancy - Crystal Claire Cosmetics Ltd. – (Canada) through Trillium Technologies Group: Facilities and laboratory equipment qualification. Qualification of HVAC, dust collection, compressed air and laboratory equipment and temperature mapping. Review compliance to Health Protection Branch (HPB) regulations and recommend corrective action in non-compliance circumastances.

Monitoring Consultancy - Cosmetica Laboratories Inc., (Canada) through Trillium Technologies Group: Laboratory equipment qualification to ensure compliance to regulations.

Monitoring Consultancy - Arbonne International Distribution Inc., (Canada) through Trillium Technologies Group: Temperature Mapping.

Project Management - Prollenium Medical Technologies (Canada) through Trillium Technologies Group: Assistance with new injections facility design.

Project Management / Reorganization - Hanzas Maiznīca (Bakery): Re-organization project involving the formation of a separate company for the maintenance department of this major bakery including preparing a contract, completing a risk analysis and providing recommendations for a successful implementation.

Project Management – Milda: Engineering services for manufacturing plant, specifications.

Project Management / Study - Litvinovka Entertainment Resort (Ukraine) through Uniglobe Capital Trust Inc.: Independent technical review for investor – due diligence. Business and development plan.

Project Management / Procurement - Latvijas Balzams (Alcoholic Beverages): Proposal for liquid filling line, installation and commissioning of a Kalish liquid filling line.

Project Management – Ausbalt: Project management for a €55 million retirement village planned to be built in 11 phases, starting with a feasibility study, concept design, cash flows, business plan and technical design. Project was suspended at the beginning of the economic crisis and is currently looking for an investor.

Project Management - Latvian-American Eye Centre Project Management for new medical services building project valued at €2,200,000. Worked on feasibility study and preliminary concept designs. Project cancelled due to rezoning by City.

Representative Services - Conestoga Rovers & Associates of Canada: Representative Services for environmental consulting company – arranged client meetings and provided local support.

Project Management / Translations - Latvian Development Agency editing and translating technical documentation (High Tech in Latvia).

Monitoring Consultancy / Engineering Services - Q-Estate: Construction inspection, consulting for residential housing sub-division.

Project Management - Valmieras Alus (Brewery): Assisting project manager with engineering services for new brewery, specifications, technological project.

Representative Services - Dr Herold AG: Local coordinator for sewage & water design, road & bride design projects. Included assistance with streetcar line study.

Skanska Konstrukcija, Sales and Marketing Director - Development and management of the Sales and Marketing function of Skanska in Latvia - offering construction related services. Assigned by regional office in Helsinki to train Eastern European and Russian Sales Managers.

Project Management - Tervete Brewery: Project Management for Fermentation cellar addition to brewery.

Project Management - Port of Ventspils through Tebodin: Reinforcement of quay walls. Local project coordination for Tebodin and their sub-contractor, Witteveen+Bos. Also provided local support for a study for port expansion with Witteveen+Bos.

Project Management / Procurement - Staburadze (Bakery): Procurement assistance – pricing equipment.

Project Management / Procurement - Rīgas Dzirnavnieks Rīgas Dzirnavnieks (flour mill) had a project to supply clients with flour by providing delivery equipment (silos, etc.). Technical Partners defined requirements, determined equipment costs and provided a payback analysis.

Project Management / Documentation - Pures Cehs: Business Plan for food processing company.

Project Management / Procurement - MedPro Inc.: Table filling line procurement and installation.

Representative Services - Tebodin Latvia and Estonia, Consultants & Engineers, Office Director of Tebodin Latvia and Estonia, management of projects in Latvia, local co-ordination of international projects, project acquisition and marketing, management of the Tebodin Latvia office. Coordinated projects in the Port of Ventspils.

Project Management - Siera Nams (Cheese House): assistance with project management, preparation of a project summary, advice on proposals.

Project Management / Study - VGM (Brewery in Liepaja) – Reconstruction Project feasibility study, evaluation of existing facilities, various design proposal options for new facility, completed preliminary engineering, provided cost estimates.

Project Management / Study - Rīgas Alus (Brewery): Evaluation of a site for a new brewery. Analysis of a plant equipment proposal.

Project Management – Procurement - Vārpa (Brewery) procurement – pricing equipment, preparation of a business plan.

Project Management / Procurement - MedPro Inc.: Equipment procurement study for new investor in pharmaceutical company in preparation for modifications to business.

Project Management - Talsu Iesals (Malt Plant) Preparation of feasibility study for a $20 million facility.

Project Management - Sandoz Canada Inc., Canada: As Total Project Manager, lead the $15,000,000 project for the introduction of TheraFlu to the North American market including product development, equipment selection and plant expansion. As Production Technology Manager, helped launch Zaditen, Clozaril, Sandostatin and Lamisil to the Canadian market by dealing with technical and production issues.

Project Management - Chempac Liquid, Health Care Prod. Div. (Div. of CCL Ind.), Canada: Line layout, design and implementation for a second plant with six liquid filling lines and supporting infrastructure. Introduced a Maintenance Management system to the facilities.

Project Management - Interbake Foods (McCormicks) Ltd., Canada: Introduced new technology to Canada – multi weigh scale bag and box filling line for chocolate chip cookies, Scotch mint and cocolate coated panned products, baking ovens, mogul line.

Project Management – Life Savers, Inc.: Development of a training program for technical staff (mechanics, operators, cleaning staff, etc.) for high speed packaging machinery. Cost accounting standards revision and production standards development to achieve realistic manufacturing levels. Introduced an effective safety program. Eliminated lost time accidents.

Project Management – Kappele, Wright & Macleod Ltd., Consulting Engineers, Canada: Brewery equipment layouts, pump and tank sizing. Evaluation of the pollution effects of new boiler installation. Filter aid systems design.
